YOGA FOR RUNNERS WITH MARCY

Marcy Freed (MA, CRYT200) is the official yoga instructor for Fleet Feet Sports, Front Runner, No Boundaries, and The Movement.  Marcy is a Certified Registered Yoga Teacher with 200+ hours of training and has been an MIT Pace Coach for over 4 years. An avid runner, Marcy understands proper stretching and breathing are important parts of a healthy training schedule.  Her yoga practice focuses on the needs of all levels of runners and walkers. No experience necessary.  Sports Physicians and Physical Therapists recommend regular stretching as part of injury prevention as well as injury recovery; Marcy welcomes the opportunity to help you learn proper techniques, and she’ll make sure you have fun too! 

Yoga with Marcy is a mixed level class focusing on:

* Alignment for biomechanical integrity

* Stretching and lengthening of “runners” muscles

* Building core strength

* Proper, controlled breathing

Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.  

Member* Cost:  $5 per class.

*Member means being in the current session of  MIT, NOBO, The Movement, or Front Runner Training Group. Non members are encouraged to attend for just $10/class.

Private Yoga Group Events
Marcy also offers groups and and in corporate setting events.
