The first day of summer is quickly approaching! We are so thankful to have already had so many great celebrations with you this spring! We are looking forward to continuing the celebration with a month of fun, active events at Fleet Feet Sports!

Your favorite summer 5 Miler is just a week away!

   

The race we all love in honor of our favorite coach is just around the corner!

  • Date: June 10th, 2012
  • Location: Thomas Worthington HIgh School, 300 W. Dublin-Granville Rd, Worthington, 43085
  • Distance: 5 mile run/walk, 3 mile walk
  • Start time: 9:00am
  • Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up: Fleet Feet Sports - June 7th-9th 
  • Race Day Packet Pick-Up begins: 7:30am
  • Entry Fee: 5 Mile Run/Walk $25, 3 Mile Walk $10
Runners and Walkers are welcome! The gun goes off at 9:00 a.m. on June 10th!
The race, started by former Cardinals athletes and their families, is sponsored by the City of Worthington and the Gary Smith Race Committee, in conjunction with the Healthy Worthington Coalition.

The Gary Smith Worthington Classic benefits a Scholarship fund in Gary's name. Scholarships are awarded to two deserving students each year.  Gary spent his life standing up for those who would be considered by most to be among life's underdogs, and making sure they got a fair chance.

Women of Fitness Day  

    

Saturday, June 16 - 10a.m. - 2p.m.
Amy Marxkors - Lola Papers Book Signing

 It wasn't supposed to be a big deal. She wanted to run faster. He could give her a few pointers. Instead, a simple request  for training advice turned into a year of running, adventure,  and the realization that life, like the marathon, isn't about the finish line. It's about what you learn along the way.

Amy will conduct a seminar  at 11 a.m. on Training is more than cardio: it's a catalyst for growth.

Tracy Disabato-Aust - Balancing Life & Training

 

Tracy is more than an All-American Athlete competing in  triathlons for Team USA.  She's an author, garden designer, wife, mother and all around active person.   

 

Tracy will conduct a seminar on Balancing Life & Training at 1:00 p.m. and  hosting a demo and  Q&A session on Tri Gear from 10:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m.

 

Amy and Tracy will be in the store from 10am-2pm  

for meet & greets and books signings!

Moving Comfort Bra Brunch   

    

Please join us at Fleet Feet Sports for our Ladies Bra Brunch on Saturday, June 23rd at 10AM.

Similar to our shoe fit, we also offer bra fits for our female customers. Let one of our bra experts fit you for a comfortable and supportive bra for any type of activity.

For every Moving Comfort Bra purchased during the month of June, Fleet Feet Sports will donate $1 to Breast Health Awareness.

Did you know that your bra should never celebrate its 1st Birthday? Enter your "loved" and outdated bra into our Worst Bra Contest. Bras will be judged by our female staff and the winner will win a Free Bra.

Refreshments and food will be served. We look forward to seeing you for a fun and informative Bra Brunch!

Race for Ellie  

    

Welcome to the 2012 Race for Ellie where we are CHANGING the COURSE of MITO!  

 

Thank you to those who participated and donated in last year's event where we raised over $127,000!!  

 

The money was wisely spent on our exciting Mitochondrial Disease research study at The Ohio State University Medical Center. We are making progress, however, your support is still greatly needed.  

 

Help us Change the Course of Mito by running, walking, volunteering, donating or fundraising for the Race for Ellie!
