We're with you literally every step of the way. Here are some quick facts about our staff and coaches:
Jeff Henderson – MIT Coaching Director. Jeff authors the general training plans and provides direction to the coaches. Jeff also works within the community and within the framework of footwear and apparel suppliers to market and promote MIT. Jeff is very passionate about bolstering the running and walking community in Central Ohio. He began coaching Cross Country and Track at Thomas Worthington High School in 2004, and began working with MIT in 2009. He enjoys the pure satisfaction that comes with completing a hard workout or race and loves helping others work towards their very diverse goals.
Sean Huffman – Educational Director and Medical Coordinator. Sean is President of OhioHealth Neighborhood Care, the outpatient operations for Riverside, Grant, Dublin, and more. He is in the unique position to call on resources both inside and outside of OhioHealth in order provide MITers with the ultimate in endurance training education. Sean is also an athletic trainer and physical therapist and should be the first person contacted regarding an injury to an MIT member. He can assist in recommending a rapid course of action, including in many, but not all cases, a visit to Dr. Bright.
Stephanie Harless – MIT Administrative Director.
Stephanie has been with MIT since 2010 and was a pace coach for the 10:00 and 9:45 minute pace groups. She has her Masters Degree in Education and works as an instructional designer. She believes that understanding why we do what we do when running and training leads to continued success, fewer injuries, and consequently, a sustained commitment to a healthy lifestyle. She brings her dedication to education and her passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle to her role as Administrative Director where she will be responsible for organization and communication (also known as herding cats).
